BitterSweet is an American esports organization that has fielded Halo teams in both North America and Europe in addition to Call of Duty teams.

History

Halo 2: Anniversary

BitterSweet first entered the Halo scene in June 2015, acquiring the former Element 6 Gaming roster of DoubleA, KiLLtastics, Impulsion and Psylince. After a top 16 finish at HCS Indianapolis 2015, BitterSweet finished 12th in the overall points standings, not enough to qualify for the HCS Season 2 Finals.

Halo 5: Guardians

On November 14, 2016, BitterSweet announced its return to Halo, acquiring the former Daddy & the Daycare roster of Randa, MuNoZ, V t3ct9, and Brainstorm. BitterSweet attended HCS Las Vegas 2016 with the intent of winning the Open Circuit Finals and qualifying for Relegation, but were unable to do so, finishing top 6 in the Open Circuit bracket and top 12 in the Championship Bracket.

On November 26, 2016, BitterSweet announced its expansion into European Halo, acquiring the #1 ranked EU Open Circuit team - MDR 2, consisting of Simon "SolaR" Racher, "Shaady", Stuart "WarLord" Graham and Dave "Anima" Gross. As MDR 2, the roster had won the Open Circuit Finals and qualified for Relegation. In the prior season, SolaR and Shaady had qualified for Relegation on team NTSC, but did not finish high enough to make the league. The following week in Relegation, the BitterSweet duo looked to make up for that as the team mowed through Pro League team Prophecy and fellow Open Circuit team Egoed en route to qualifying for the next season of Pro League.

On January 2, SolaR left BitterSweet to join Supremacy.
