== Biography == ===Halo 2=== At a very young age, ContrA (then known as LiL TalenT) competed at many MLG events, once making the Championship Bracket with team Melon Poppers alongside Ms Baretta, Beastish, and RyanDaNinjA. ===Halo: Reach=== ContrA competed at a few Halo: Reach events in 2011 and 2012, finishing in the top forty-eight twice and making a name for himself in the amateur scene. ===Halo 4=== ContrA teamed with LethuL, Kuthroat, and Mikwen at Gamers For Giving 2014, taking second place. He then teamed with Blaze, BLaZe RoZaY, and PreDevoNatoR as Prometheans at RTX 2014, where they placed fourth. ===Halo 2: Anniversary=== ContrA started off HCS Season 1 as a member of Reality Check with SUDDOTH1, SUDDOTH2 and PreDevoNatoR. They placed seventh at Iron Games Columbus 2014. ContrA then left Reality Check and joined Noble Black with Arkanum, Blaze and Randa for UGC St. Louis 2015, placing in the top twelve. He then left the team to join Gaming with Flamesword, Ace and Assault. With ContrA on board, OpTic placed second in HCS Cups #6 and #7 and third at Gamers For Giving 2015. In the season finals at PAX East 2015, Contra and OpTic finished in the top eight. Contra was dropped from OpTic shortly after the finals, and on March 18, it was announced that he was joining Team Randa alongside Naded, RyaNoob, and Randa. After being acquired by Winterfox, the roster finished fourth at Iron Games Atlanta, notably eliminating Counter Logic Gaming from the tournament before losing to Cloud9. On April 29, Winterfox announced that they were parting ways with Contra and that he was taking a break from competitive Halo. On May 18, Contra's break from Halo ended, as it was announced that he was returning to Noble eSports to team with Cratos, Suspector and LifeStyle. Despite finishing in the top eight at PGL Indianapolis, Contra and Noble were unable to earn enough HCS points to qualify for ESL Burbank 2015. ===Halo 5: Guardians=== On November 27, 2015, Noble eSports announced their new roster of ContrA, Rayne, Penguin, and FilthyG, going into a Halo World Championship 2016 season with over $2,500,000 on the line. FilthyG was soon replaced by PreDevoNatoR. After one tournament with Noble, Contra and Devon left to form Disobey. Eventually, the Disobey roster consisted of Contra, Devon, bubu dubu and Huke, and was picked up by Denial eSports. At MLG Columbus, Denial upset sixth seeded Team EnVyUs, fourth seeded Team Liquid and first seeded Team Allegiance, making it all the way to the finals before losing 4-2 to Counter Logic Gaming and finishing second. It was the whole team's first major event grand final. At Halo World Championship 2016, Denial finished second in their pool, resulting in a tough match against Team Liquid for top four. They narrowly defeated Liquid but were unable to topping Counter Logic Gaming, who sent them home in the top four with $250,000. On April 22, 2016, it was announced that ContrA and Devon were leaving Denial to join Goofy and RyaNoob and form the new Team Allegiance roster. The team successfully qualified for the Summer 2016 Pro League at the Summer Qualifier, placing second in their group. After posting an unimpressive 1-5 record over the first three weeks, Allegiance replaced Goofy with Heinz. Though Heinz helped improve the team's standing, they were unable to close the deficit and ended up finishing sixth, just enough to qualify for the Fall Season but not enough to qualify for ESL Burbank Summer 2016. Allegiance made changes in the offseason, replacing Heinz and RyaNoob with Falcated and Shooter. After a poor start to the season, Shooter made the untimely decision to leave the team, leaving Allegiance unable to attend ESA Orange County. ContrA instead opted to attend with Ace, BxbyJ and Renegade as The MoneyMatches Team. They finished in the top six. Allegiance then finalized its roster, picking up Str8 SicK. Their fortunes did not improve, as they ultimately finished in eighth place with a 3-11 record, facing Relegation. At ME Las Vegas 2016, a different Team Allegiance showed up, defeating multiple pro teams and finishing third overall. At Relegation, Allegiance lost to Enigma6 Group but were able to defeat The MoneyMatches Team and 3sUP to save their spot. On December 14, ContrA announced via Twitter that he is longer a part of Team Allegiance, stating that he was in the middle of "filing the release paperwork". Less than a month later, ContrA joined Evil Geniuses alongside Roy, Lunchbox and PreDevoNatoR. The new roster's first event together was UGC St. Louis, where they finished in the top six. A few weeks later, EG made the decision to drop PreDevoNatoR and promote the recently retired OGRE2 from analyst to player. The new roster's first event together was ME Las Vegas, where they finished in the top twelve after losses to Team CryptiK and Splyce. With one more chance to qualify for Worlds in the form of the Last Chance Qualifier, EG finished third, again bowing out after losses to CryptiK and Splyce. During the offseason, ContrA parted ways with Evil Geniuses and joined TBD alongside RyaNoob, DasTroyed and Nemassist. The roster was acquired by Oxygen Supremacy shortly after forming. At UMG Daytona, Oxygen Supremacy went undefeated in the Open Bracket and made a splash early in the Championship Bracket, sweeping Luminosity Gaming and taking out Str8 Rippin in 4 games. In the Winners Semifinals, they narrowly lost to Team EnVyUs in 5 games before being eliminated by Splyce in the Losers Bracket for a top 6 finish. Following the upsetting Denver finish, ContrA left CryptiK, eventually reuniting with PreDevoNatoR and recruiting Danoxide and Calm. The new roster was signed by eLevate on February 13, 2018, after establishing itself as a top team in the Halo World Championship 2018 season. Unfortunately, the team was eliminated in the open bracket of MLG Orlando by Myztro Gaming, resulting in a top twenty-four finish. ContrA and Devon went on to team with MoNsTcR and BabyJ, ultimately being signed by Armada eSports. The team finished tenth at MLG Columbus, heartbreakingly missing the last Worlds spot by one loss to Wise Gaming. Armada disbanded after Columbus. == Trivia == == Achievements == == Media == === Gallery === === Interviews === === Articles === === Videos === *MLG Columbus 2012 WBR4 Paragon vs Variable: Lil TalenT POV - youtube.com == External links == == Redirects == PlayerPageRedirects == References == <references />
