Biography

Halo 2: Anniversary

UnLegit's first major foray into competitive Halo came when he joined eXcellence Gaming's eX Black team alongside Coby, Swift Kill and Wolfmayyne. After four straight top 16 finishes in HCS cups, eX Black attended their first tournament together, Gamers For Giving 2015, where they placed top 12 and failed to qualify for the HCS Season 1 Finals. UnLegit stayed with eXcellence (dropping the eX Black name and simply going as eXcellence) for season 2. Replacing Wolfmayyne with Spartan, eXcellence finished top 12 at Iron Games Atlanta 2015. After the event, Spartan and Swift Kill both left the team and were replaced by eL TowN and iTz So Frosty. The new roster finished top 12 at HCS Indianapolis and managed to qualify for the HCS Season 2 Finals, where they finished in the top 8.

Halo 5: Guardians

On August 22, 2015, eLevate announced their roster for Halo 5, including UnLegit, Frosty, Randa and Suspector. However, UnLegit would leave the organization before they would ever attend a tournament, officially joining Team Liquid alongside Ninja, Ace and Chig on November 16.[17] The Liquid roster went through major revisions during the Halo World Championship 2016 qualifying stage, eventually being finalized as Ace, UnLegit, APG and Heinz and qualifying for the NA Regional Finals as the 4th seed.. Liquid were invited to the X Games Aspen 2016, where they finished 5th - 8th. At NA Regionals, Liquid finished top 8, qualifying for Halo World Championship 2016. At Worlds, Team Liquid finished top 8, securing a $75,000 prize. After Worlds, UnLegit changed his game ID to "Eco" and found his place on Team Liquid alongside APG, Spartan and StelluR. The team first attempted to qualify for the Summer Pro League at the Summer Qualifier, but were unable to place in the upper half of their group. After replacing the injured APG with Assault, Liquid qualified for the League by finishing 1st in the Last Chance Qualifier. Liquid had a rocky start to the season, not winning a single match until Week 4, after dropping Assault for Danoxide. The new roster would end up finishing 2-12, good enough for only 7th place. At Relegation, Liquid were able to keep their spot by finishing 1st.

After the season concluded, Spartan and StelluR left the team to seek other opportunities, leaving Eco and Danoxide with the Team Liquid seed. They eventually recruited Naded and eL TowN. As Team Liquid had opted to part ways with Eco and Danoxide in favor of a new team, the roster found a new home under Luminosity Gaming. After three weeks in the Pro League with Luminosity, Eco left the 4th place team and joined 7th place LOL alongside AcE, APG and Heinz, effectively reuniting the HWC 2016 Liquid roster. In a bad spot before picking up Eco, the roster had a dramatic turnaround, winning the majority of its matches, and eventually picked up an organization in the form of the revitalized Str8 Rippin. Under Str8, the team ultimately completed its comeback, finishing with a 7-7 record good enough for 4th place. At HCS Las Vegas 2016, Str8 took 4th place, with victories over the likes of Evil Geniuses and European champions FAB Games eSports, and back-to-back losses to Team Allegiance. At the Season Finals, Str8 were unable to defeat Team EnVyUs or Team Liquid, resulting in a 4th place finish. During the offseason, Eco left Str8 Rippin, eventually returning to Team Liquid alongside Penguin, Rayne and StelluR. The new roster's first event was UGC St. Louis 2017, where they proved they were a team competing for 1st place as they nearly defeated OpTic Gaming in the Winners Finals before taking out #1 seeded Team EnVyUs in the Losers Finals and again losing a very close series to OpTic in the Grand Finals. At ME Las Vegas 2017, Liquid qualified for Halo World Championship 2017 after sweeping Pnda Gaming, and solidified themselves as the #2 team in North America with two dominant victories over Team EnVyUs. They lost to OpTic Gaming 4-1 in the Finals and went home in 2nd place. At Worlds, Liquid were placed in a pool with Luminosity Gaming and London Conspiracy, both of whom they 3-0d to earn a top seed in the bracket. In Winners Round 1, they again defeated Team EnVyUs, this time 4-3. This was followed by a 4-0 sweep over Str8 Rippin and a 4-1 WB Finals loss to OpTic Gaming. In the LB Finals, they were unable to overcome a hot Team EnVyUs, who defeated them 4-2 to end their night with a 3rd place finish.

At the first event on 2017 settings, UMG Daytona, Liquid faced Splyce a whopping four times over the course of the weekend - twice in pool play, of which each team won one, once in Winners Bracket Round 2, which Liquid won, and following a 5-game loss to OpTic Gaming, once more in the Losers Semifinals which was won by Liquid in a seven-game affair. They then moved on to face Team EnVyUs, looking to reclaim their spot in the top 2 after losing it at Worlds. EnVy had other plans however, sweeping Liquid in the best-of-7 and sending them home in 3rd. After a weak start to the Summer Pro League season, Team Liquid made a roster change, sending Rayne to Str8 Rippin in exchange for a returning AcE. The change helped Liquid move up in the standings, with the team ultimately ending the season in third place. At the DreamHack Atlanta Finals, Liquid started off strongly with sweeps over Wise Gaming and Luminosity Gaming, but they were taken out in the third round by Splyce in five games. After eliminating eRa Eternity, Liquid were defeated by Team EnVyUs in five games, leaving Atlanta with a fourth place finish. During the offseason, Liquid dropped Ace, replacing him with a returning Spartan. The new roster finished the Fall Season with a 5-2 record, taking losses to only OpTic Gaming and Team EnVyUs. At the DreamHack Denver Finals, Liquid started off with back to back 3-0 sweeps over Radiant Esports and Evil Geniuses. In the third round, Liquid were defeated 3-1 by OpTic Gaming. Liquid took out Europe's finest - Team Infused - in four games to secure a top four placing. In the Elimination Semifinals, Liquid dominated Team EnVyUs in a 4-0 sweep to secure top three. In the Elimination Finals, Liquid handled Summer Champions Splyce in similar fashion, moving on to the Grand Finals after another 4-0 sweep. Waiting in the finals was OpTic Gaming, who took Liquid out with a final score of 4-1.

On November 13, Eco and StelluR left Team Liquid to join Splyce alongside Renegade and Shotzzy. The new roster went into MLG Orlando with the #1 seed and played nearly textbook Halo, taking first place with a 4-2 win over OpTic Gaming in the finals in Eco's first event win. Winning Orlando opened the floodgates for Splyce, who went on to win the last four cups of the season going into MLG Columbus. In Columbus, Splyce finished second in their pool after StelluR was unable to play in their match against Renegades for medical reasons. The following day, Splyce lost to Tox (formerly OpTic) in the winners semifinals, but turned up a gear on Sunday, taking out Team EnVyUs and Team Reciprocity before sweeping Tox in series one of the finals and defeating them 4-1 in the second series to take first place. At Worlds, the #1 seeded Splyce swept their pool before taking out Team Infused 4-1 in the first round of bracket play. After defeating Team EnVyUs 4-2, Splyce faced TOX Gaming and defeated them 4-1 to secure a spot in the finals. In the finals, they met TOX Gaming again and swept them to claim their first World Championship.

Halo: Infinite

On October 5, 2020, Eco signed with Cloud9 alongside StelluR, Penguin, and Renegade.
