FAB Games eSports is a German esports organization.

History

Halo 5: Guardians

On December 3, 2015, FAB eSports made its entry into the Halo scene, fielding a roster of Robby "Kimbo" Faulk, Luciano "Mose" Calvanico, Lukas "MonKey" Buchner and Maik "Speed" Dyck. Mose left shortly after the formation of the roster, leaving FAB to pick up Joel "Septic" Ligma in his place. The team successfully qualified for the Halo World Championship EMEA Regional Finals after winning the second online European Qualifier. At Regionals, FAB finished in the top 4, enough to qualify for Halo World Championship 2016, notably defeating former member Mose and his new team - Team Dignitas - in the process. At Worlds, FAB finished top 16, taking home $25,000. The roster disbanded soon after.

On July 20, 2016, FAB Games returned to Halo, acquiring the roster of the top ranked and only undefeated team in the European Pro League, U4X eSports. The roster consisted of a returning Kimbo and Mose alongside Brandon "Respectful" Stones and Perry "TuFoxy" Kenyon, with coach Liam "Havoc" Peck. At the Season Finals, FAB continued their undefeated streak as they finished 1st, dropping only two games in the process.

After the conclusion of the season, FAB appeared to be sticking together, but made a last minute roster change, replacing Kimbo with James "Jimbo" Bradbrook. The new roster was officially confirmed by the organization on August 30. After a 4-0 start to the season with the new roster, FAB suffered its first loss in the Pro League, including their time under U4X eSports, when they lost 3-1 to Team Infused in Week 3. This would be their only loss in the season, as they went on to finish in 1st place for the second straight season with a 9-1 record. Two weeks later, FAB was in America competing at ME Las Vegas. With wins over 6S Gaming and Pnda Gaming and losses to only Team Liquid and Str8 Rippin, FAB proved they could hang in America as they took a top 8 finish at the event. At the Season Finals, FAB dominated the competition, not dropping a single game as they steamrolled their way to 1st place.

FAB's next task in the Halo Championship Series was qualifying for Halo World Championship 2017, and they'd need a top 2 finish at Gfinity London 2017 to do it. They came out swinging, not dropping a game until the Winners Finals, where they took a 3-2 victory over Team Infused. In the Grand Finals, they met an unlikely opponent in the French Supremacy squad. Though Supremacy managed to take a game, that was all they could muster as FAB took its third straight European LAN victory and became the 1st EU roster to qualify for Worlds. At Worlds, FAB were placed in a group with Str8 Rippin and Shock The World. They 3-0d StW, but were unable to take more than a game from Str8, finishing 2nd in the pool. In the Championship Bracket, FAB were first 4-0d by reigning champions OpTic Gaming. They then swept Team Immunity in a best-of-EU vs. best-of-ANZ match-up. In the following round, they were matched up against Splyce, who defeated them 4-1 and sent them home with a top 8 finish.

During the offseason, FAB parted ways with its highly successful roster following the retirement of TuFoxy and departure of Jimbo. Respectful and Mose carried the seed forward under the name The Lads.
