Emanuel "Hoaxer" Lovejoy is an American coach for Team EnVyUs. He is also a successful coach and FFA player.

Biography

Emanuel Lovejoy was born on December 29, 1989. He is from Douglasville, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. His brother is fellow pro player/coach Marcus "Elumnite" Lovejoy. He got into gaming at a young age, first owning a Sega Genesis. His competitive spirit for first-person shooters was realized with GoldenEye 007, which he and his brother played religiously. This eventually carried over into Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, with Hoaxer and Elumnite attending local tournaments for the games. As they beat more and more people within their local region, they set their sights higher and aspired to compete at the highest level of competitive Halo.

Hoaxer's first major tournament was MLG Meadowlands 2008.

Hoaxer joined as a coach for Str8 Rippin, with the roster consisting of Ace, APG, Heinz, and Eco.

  • Hoaxer has worked with PowerA in the past, helping develop the FUS1ON Tournament Controller for Xbox 360.
