Mean Machines began its road to success by dominating online tournaments in the German-speaking area. The team was formed at the Meegaa Lan VI event in Essen August 2009 founded by Jobst, Ebi, D4rki and Daywalker. After Meegaa Lan VI the team collaps often till 2011. In the most famous German Online tournament "German Halo Tournaments" Jobst and his team played the grand final but they got an deficit of 0:5. mean Machines striked back with an insane comeback and won with 6:5 against Royal Flush (Septic, Speed, Fatality and Fantazy). The team was often nominated in the years 2011, 2012 and 2013 for the top 4 in Europe. But the team was only seventh place on the offline events. Most of the members are considered to be one of the best german-speaking gamer in history. Mean Machines thought to be one of the top two German speaking teams in 2010 till 2012. In the first three months of 2013 the team was undefeated (Online). It collapsed in 2013 because it was bought by Soldiers of Honor, which also broke up a month later. The team always consisted of friends.
