New Era is a former North American Halo team.

History

The New Era name has been used in competitive Halo since at least MLG Orlando 2010.

Halo 5: Guardians

The most recent New Era lineup was formed in June 2016 by Cpt Anarchy, Squalleye, V t3ct9, and Marbelize. Anarchy, Squalleye and V t3ct9 were formerly on French Toast Mafia before that team broke up upon failing to qualify for Pro League. Entering the Open Circuit, New Era quickly established itself as a top team. Near the halfway point of the season, V t3ct9 left the team to join Catastrophe, leaving New Era to pick up NYSea in his place.
