Biography

Renegade is from Laguna Hills, California.

Halo 5: Guardians

Renegade emerged in the qualifying stages for the Summer 2016 Pro League as a part of team Catastrophe alongside TriPPPeY, Musa and Brainstorm. The team came out of nowhere to qualify for the Last Chance Qualifier and ended up finishing top 8 in the qualifier. Replacing Musa with Nemassist, Catastrophe then started competing in the Open Circuit. Though they solidified themselves as a top 3 team in the first 2 weeks, Renegade left the squad to join Team eLevate alongside Randa, Heinz and Falcated. Despite a 2nd place finish in their one cup together, Renegade ended up released from eLevate and forming Tryvek alongside Goofy and his former teammates TriPPPeY and Musa. They ultimately finished top 8 in the Open Circuit Finals, not enough to qualify for Relegation.

Unable to find a spot on a Pro League team for the Fall season, Renegade joined Elite Four alongside Cloud, RyaNoob and Str8 SicK for the Fall Open Circuit. After a strong two weeks, Renegade found himself subbing for MaNiaC on team LOL in the Pro League, alongside Ace, Heinz and APG. With Renegade on board, LOL went 2-0 in Week 3, upsetting Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses in the process. During the transfer period, Renegade attended HCS Orange County 2016 as a member of The MoneyMatches Team consisting of himself, ContrA, AcE, and BabyJ. They finished in the top 8 at the event. Despite LOL's improved results with Renegade, they ultimately decided to go with another fourth, leaving Renegade to form Daddy & the Daycare alongside Randa, v t3ct9 and Brainstorm. Despite closing out the season on the team, Renegade ended up leaving D&TD to join 3sUP alongside Prototype, MoNsTcR and Rammyy for the Open Circuit Finals at HCS Las Vegas 2016. At the event, 3sUP finished 1st in the Open Circuit Finals, qualifying for Relegation. In the Championship Bracket, 3sUP made a statement when they beat Enigma6 Group, a team they would be facing at Relegation, 3-2. They finished top 6 overall at the event. At Relegation, 3sUP were chosen by Enigma6 Group as their first round opponents. In an extremely close match, 3sUP were defeated 4-3. 3sUP then defeated The MoneyMatches Team to earn another shot at qualifying, but could not take more than two games against Team Allegiance.

During the offseason, Renegade found his way into the big leagues when he joined Str8 Rippin alongside APG, Heinz and AcE. This reunited the LOL lineup during the time that Renegade subbed for the team. At the first event of HaloWC 2017 season - UGC St. Louis 2017 - Renegade showed that Str8 were still a top team with him on board, dominating lower-seeded teams and nearly defeating Team EnVyUs in the WB Semifinals. In Losers, they took out Inconceivable in a very close match before a loss to Team Liquid sent them home in 4th place. Regardless of the outcome, Renegade still managed to take home 1st Place in the FFA competition. At ME Las Vegas 2017, Str8 defeated Luminosity Gaming in an intense 7-game series to qualify for Worlds. They ultimately finished top 6 after a 4-2 loss to Pnda Gaming. At Worlds, Str8 were placed in a group with FAB Games eSports and SoaR Gaming. They finished 1st in their pool after victories over both teams and met TMMT Crowd Pleasers in the first round. This time, they beat them 4-3, only to run into Team Liquid and get swept out of the Winners Bracket. In Losers, Str8 were placed against Splyce, who they defeated in a monumentally close 4-3 series. They were then swept by Team EnVyUs and sent home in 4th place.

Following Worlds, Renegade left Str8 to join Splyce alongside bubu dubu, Shotzzy and Shooter. With Renegade on board, Splyce won the Daytona Placement Cup, earning a spot in the Group Stage of the event. In Daytona, Splyce finished 2nd in its pool, notably trading wins with Team Liquid. They narrowly avoided an upset in a 3-2 victory over Lethal Gaming in Winners Round 1 before being knocked out by Team Liquid (in their third match of the tournament) in the second round. After eliminating Wise Gaming, Luminosity Gaming and Oxygen Supremacy, Splyce met Liquid once again in the Losers Semifinals and lost a grueling 4-3 series to take 4th place. The following week, Splyce successfully qualified for the Summer Pro League with a 1st place finish in the Last Chance Qualifier. Splyce had an impressive showing in the Pro League, losing only to OpTic Gaming and finishing second overall. At the DreamHack Atlanta Finals, Splyce won their first matches in quick fashion before a narrow victory over Team Liquid sent them to the Winners Finals against OpTic Gaming. Here, Splyce did the unthinkable, handing the OpTic roster its most lopsided ever loss with a score of 4-1. OpTic returned from the Elimination Bracket for a rematch, but Splyce stood their ground, taking the second series 4-2 and putting a cap to their Cinderella story and giving Renegade his first event win, as well as teammates Shotzzy and bubu.

Returning unchanged for the Fall Season, Splyce had a more rocky run, finishing fourth overall. They had a similarly strong start at the DreamHack Denver Finals, sweeping their early opponents and taking out the formidable Team EnVyUs in four games. They met up with OpTic Gaming once again in the Winners Finals. This time around, OpTic stood tall with a 4-2 victory. In the Elimination Finals, Splyce were unexpectedly dominated by a hot Team Liquid roster, who took them out with a 4-0 victory and sent the defending champions home in third.

Going into Halo World Championship 2018 season, Splyce made changes to its roster, replacing bubu dubu and Shooter with Eco and StelluR of Team Liquid. The new roster went into MLG Orlando with the #1 seed and played nearly textbook Halo, taking first place with a 4-2 win over OpTic Gaming in the finals. Winning Orlando opened the floodgates for Splyce, who went on to win the last four cups of the season going into MLG Columbus. In Columbus, Splyce finished second in their pool after StelluR was unable to play in their match against Renegades for medical reasons. The following day, Splyce lost to Tox (formerly OpTic) in the winners semifinals, but turned up a gear on Sunday, taking out Team EnVyUs and Team Reciprocity before sweeping Tox in series one of the finals and defeating them 4-1 in the second series to take first place. At Worlds, the #1 seeded Splyce swept their pool before taking out Team Infused 4-1 in the first round of bracket play. After defeating Team EnVyUs 4-2, Splyce faced TOX Gaming and defeated them 4-1 to secure a spot in the finals. In the finals, they met TOX Gaming again and swept them to claim their first World Championship.

Halo: Infinite
