Rob "Septic" Singleton is a player for Team XENEX. He is well known for his time with Vibe.

Biography

Rob Singleton was born on the 19th of June, 1994. From Cumbria, England.

Halo Reach

Septic began his competitive Halo career at the end of 2011 in Halo:Reach for EGL4, where his team would place 18th out of 24 teams. Knowing he had something to prove he set out to find a new team. Shortly after he found himself on former SkLite team with Valadan and Brightside, who had placed 10th at EGL4. The next event would be EGL5, which unfortunately Brightside was unable to play, he'd team with Flameshy, Valadan and FluXy on Infinitus, where they finished 8th place. EGL7 would be the next event where he joined Stirve with FluXy, Jonspen and Struj, they finished 6th. After taking a short break he decided to coach previous European champions TEC at EGL8 Manchester, when they got 2nd. Septic also filled on in the day for his former team Strive after a player didn't turn up, in which they placed 9th.

Halo 4

Septic's career started to kick off during Halo 4. Attending the first event for Halo 4 in Europe being ReflexGT Winter Championship alongside Zyruz, Hybrid and Blackout under TotalECircuit. After beating Western Wolves in winners bracket 3-2 they met them again in the losers finals where they played continuation best of 9 and lost 5-4, ending the tournament with a 3rd place finish. Not long after MLG Pro Ninja had expressed interest in attending a European event, and it was an easy choice for his team. They would go on to attend EGL9 under TEC Vibe, with Zyruz, Hybrid and Ninja, where they placed 1st beating High Society 6-2 in the Grand Finals. Unfortunately the following 4v4 event being Insomnia 49 would take place at the same time as the Halo 4 Global Championship qualifiers at Gamescom. Knowing the opportunity at stake, they would attend in order to qualify for the Global Championship finals, in which they all succeeded, with Septic qualifying online. The following 4v4 event would take place in November for Insomnia 50 in Telford, where he'd team with MLG Pros Flamesword and Enable, alongside fellow European Jimbo. They would go on to win the event against High Society 6-2 in the Grand Finals.

Halo 3

During the downtime of competitive Halo, Europe ran a couple of throwback Halo 3 events. Insomnia 51 in April 2013 would be the first one, where he teamed with Zyruz, tranQ and Onset under Vibe, with an early loss in the winners bracket they fell short in losers finishing 4th place. Insomnia 52 would be the next Halo 3 Throwback event, where he'd team with Macca, Lew and Godshot. After beating Infused in Winners Bracket 3-1, they fell short to VwS in the winners final and face off against Infused once again where they lost overall 6-3, leaving them with 3rd place.

Halo 2 Anniversary

For the first Halo 2 Anniversay event, Septic would team with old teammates and coach Zyruz, Hybrid and Brightside as they attend the Gamescom Showdown pre release tournament in August. With it only being single elimination they were eliminated early to place 5th-8th by the German team dzs from the qualifier. After the launch of Halo 2 Anniversary he'd team with Fragby, Fuzion and BlackJack under Vibe for Insomnia 52. Falling short to TCM in the Grand Finals 6-5 they placed 2nd. One week later would be Gfinity 2k, he would attend with the same team however playing under London Conspiracy. Making the 0-2 comeback to win 3-2 in the first series vs TCM in the Grand Finals and yet again falling short losing 3-2 in the second series, leaving them 2nd place. The following event would be the huge EGL Battle of Europe €10,000, with the winner qualifying for HCS Season 1 Finals. He would join up with former TCM members Chalkie and Ramirez, as well as teammate BlackJack as they play under Vibe. Meeting TCM in the Grand Finals and winning 6-2 led them to their victory. The HCS Season 1 Grand Finals in Boston at PAX East would be the next event for Septic, as his EGL winning wildcard team would go up against Noble Black to break into the main bracket. Unfortunelty losing the series 3-1 and being eliminated early, placing 9th.

On March 11, 2015, Septic declared his free agent status for North American teams on Twitter, confirming that he had left Vibe.[1] On April 2nd, it was announced that he had joined Team XENEX.[2]
