Nicholas "ShowTime" Laskaras is an American coach for Elevate. He has played for teams like Enigma6 Group, Ronin Esports, and Fyra Gaming in his career.

Biography

Nicholas Laskaras was born on February 14th, 1992 and is from Dover, New Jersey. He was introduced to the Halo series during the Halo 2 era and introduced to the competitive side of things shortly after. He describes his play style as "the person on the team that does the dirty work or whatever needs to be done to win." He describes his coaching style as "calm communication and small talk for the team, but also a leader when the team needs direction or a play call." Like his teammates on Crowd Pleasers, he gets loud when his team gets hyped, as he and his teammates thrive off of intensity and momentum.

Early career

ShowTime began competing in Halo 2 at MLG Meadowlands 2007. He first made a name for himself four years later with high placements in the 2011 MLG Bic Flex FFA competitions.

Halo 4

ShowTime broke out in 4v4 when he met semi-professional player Cratos, who recruited him for a spot on DGR Crowd Pleasers alongside himself, LifeStyle and Shooter. The team took a top 12 finish at MLG Fall Championship 2012. The roster returned for AGL 5 Nashville, where they took a top 8 finish. For AGL 6 Pittsburgh, Cratos and ShowTime played alongside Nemassist and SickStory as DGR ScarGang, taking a 5th place finish. For UMG Chicago 2013, ShowTime played alongside Aptitude, Gabriel and PROVERB as G4C Severance, taking a top 8 finish. He retired after this event.

Halo 5: Guardians

At the request of Cratos, ShowTime came out of retirement with the release of Halo 5: Guardians and began his coaching career. He became a professional coach and team manager in the Summer 2016 season, coaching the Enigma6 Group roster of Cratos, Shooter, bubu dubu and Huke to a qualified spot in Pro League at his first event - the Summer Qualifier. The team finished 2nd in the regular season, notably being the only team to take a series off of Counter Logic Gaming. At the Season Finals, Enigma6 finished 2nd, unable to translate their online success against CLG into a live event victory.

Following the Summer Finals, E6 made changes, replacing Huke and bubu dubu with Suspector and StelluR. At 2050 Chattanooga, Enigma6, the only pro team in attendance, finished 1st. A controversial incident followed which resulted in the team being punished with fines and the eventual departure of StelluR and re-acquisition of Shooter. At HCS Orange County 2016, the first event of the Fall Season, E6 finished top 6. Their placing at HCS Las Vegas 2016 was a more disappointing top 8 finish. In the Pro League, E6 finished 7th, facing possible Relegation, but they were able to keep their pro seed with victories over 3sUP and Team Allegiance.

During the offseason, Cratos and ShowTime left E6 and formed a new roster alongside Naded, Str8 SicK and Nemassist. In a controversial series of events, the roster was able to keep its Pro Seed despite only maintaining one player and the manager from the Fall 2016 Enigma6 roster. They were acquired by the Pnda Gaming organization shortly after and attended UGC St. Louis 2017, where they placed in the top 12. After UGC, Pnda released Nemassist and acquired Danoxide, which lead to a much improved 4th place finish at ME Las Vegas 2017 and a spot at Halo World Championship 2017. After Vegas, the roster left the Pnda organization and announced that it would be competing as Crowd Pleasers. Shortly after this announcement, they announced a partnership with Money Matches and a team name change to TMMT Crowd Pleasers.
