Biography
Halo 5: Guardians
SolaR rose to competitive Halo prominence in late 2015, during the qualifying stages for Halo World Championship 2016. Initially playing on teams such as Team iDeaL and SsK during the XES France series, SolaR joined Millenium alongside SeifeR, TaLic and Zankioh. The team eventually qualified for the EMEA Regional Finals by placing 1st in an Online Qualifier. They then attended Halo World Championship Tour: Paris, an all-France event, where they placed 3rd out of the four invited teams. At the EMEA Regionals, Millenium finished in the top 8, failing to qualify for Worlds.
After Worlds, SolaR joined PuLse Gaming alongside SLG, CxLii and KrYsTaLiXx with the intention of qualifying for the Summer 2016 HCS Pro League. Unable to do so in their first attempt, they required a top 4 finish in the Last Chance Qualifier to earn a spot. This time they were successful, winning through and taking a top 2 finish. The Summer Pro League season did not go well for PuLse, and SolaR was dropped from the team midway through the season. Setting his sights on qualifying for the next season of Pro League through the Open Circuit, SolaR joined NTSC alongside Nurix, Shaady and TaLic. The team was immediately successful in the circuit, winning the final two Legendary Cups and taking 1st place in the Open Circuit Finals, qualifying for Relegation. At Relegation, NTSC were defeated in a close 7-game series by SolaR's former team PuLse, and eliminated in the following round by Dinosaurs, ending their Pro League hopes for Fall.
Going into the Fall Season of the Open Circuit, SolaR, Nurix and Shaady formed a new team - MDR 2 - alongside KrYsTaLiXx. Nurix was replaced early in the season by Sica as MDR 2 established itself as a top 2 team in the circuit. As the season continued, they became more dominant, eventually taking 1st place in the standings. Late in the season, KrYsTaLiXx was replaced by WarLord, and just prior to the Open Circuit Finals, Sica was replaced by Anima. The now multi-national roster took 1st place in the Finals, resulting in SolaR and Shaady qualifying for their second straight Relegation opportunity. Prior to the tournament, MDR 2 were signed by BitterSweet. This time, things were different for SolaR and his squad, as they swept through the competition (Prophecy and Egoed) en route to earning pro status.
During the offseason, SolaR left BitterSweet to join Supremacy alongside Fragxr, PuniShR and former PuLse teammate SLG. The new Supremacy's first task was qualifying for Halo World Championship 2017, and they'd need a top 2 finish at Gfinity London 2017 to do it. Despite an early loss to Pace Making Pandas, Supremacy staged a dramatic Losers Bracket run which included a 3-0 revenge victory over the Pandas. They defeated Team Infused 4-3 to clinch their trip to Worlds, but could not muster more than a single game against FAB Games eSports, settling for 2nd. At Worlds, Supremacy finished in the top 12 after losing to OpTic Gaming, TMMT Crowd Pleasers and Team EnVyUs.
