Biography
Halo 5: Guardians
Austin
Takedown broke out into competitive Halo on competing in the RTX 2016/FFA on July 3rd. The grand finals consisted of Rammyy at 91 Kills, and an unbelievable 3 way tie in points for 2nd between Jared at 88 Kills, MuNoZ at 84 Kills, and Takedown at 82 Kills followed by Mist Ninjutsu and Leo.
Chattanooga
Takedown attended his first 4v4 event on Elemental GoonZ consisting of himself, Just Improve, McBob101, and Phayzd. All of his teammates had been playing the game no more than 2-3 months since the game had been out a year or so. They looked to impress players and spectators alike at 2050 Chattanooga. They played against the likes of Pnda Gaming and Hype & Positivity but came up short 50-48 Game 5 in an insanely close series for top 16 and pool play.
Las Vegas
Takedown made his way to the ME Las Vegas 2017 qualifier alongside his duo Sleepoligy and attending their first event with rising AMs Simba and Padawin. Premium made a lot of noise at the event knocking out 4 teams including Takedown's former team Elemental GoonZ 3-0. In an intense game 5 Takedown and his team were narrowly short of upsetting Starboys led by Dynamics. They went on to outplace Starboys. Takedown would then be subjected to the likes of Here 4 Fun, a pro roster consisting of King Nick, Claim, FlamesworD and Hunter Jjx. Every game was close, but unfortunately Here 4 Fun would come out on top 3-1, ending Premium's run at 21st-24th for the event. Takedown made it to the quarter finals for the FFA.
After Vegas, Takedown joined his first professional team alongside Shele, SneakyBran, and Soldier for the ESML/North America/Minor League/Fall 2017/Qualifier 3. In Round 1 they went up against SoulSnipe, Nebula. Eli Elite, and Kaiss. After dropping Game 1, they won Slayer 50-40 and in a stunning upset took Truth CTF 3-2 to win the series. SoulSnipe would go on to defeat CptAnarchy and Calm Mentality, Article and coLeK finishing 3rd. Takedown's team was then knocked out by Tragic for Top 6. For his next tourney Takedown entered the Upset Tourneys/4v4 Variant/2017-11-17 alongside Plazement, King Slabith and RaPTeN. They defeated Thin in Round 1, ObnoxiuzZ and BlackHaloGod in Round 2, then proceeded to reverse sweep TuSicK, Nightfury, Just Naxxis, and xCrossphire, who had defeated Taulek, Envore, Manny, and Rival in Winner's prior. Team Dread Takedown lost 3-1 in the Grand Finals to Slinky, APMH, Sidewinder, and Gewnzi.
New Orleans
Takedown preformed individually in the free for all placing top 12 knocking out pro/top AM players such as ROB THE TURTLE, PiLEZ, JR2, and DarkMatter, and beating 3rd place grand finalist/teammate Queso in the early rounds. Takedown attended MLG NOLA repicking up his successful duo Azirafell as well as Queso and Painfulness. After breezing through Claytron 3-0 round 1, Takedown got his rematch 2 years after the haunting 2 kill game 5 versus the team that stole top 16 at Chattanooga and won. Lucent eSports would demolish Bunnies 3-0 moving onto top Gamebattles ladder team Zero Chill Gaming led by FFA champion GoldStarBR and his duo GuitarHeroDude. Lucent managed to upset sweep the series 3-0. Their next round would resulted in a loss versus Ryders led by Dallay in a close series. After a hard fought battle Lucent would be knocked by ROB THE TURTLE, Manny, Brainstorm and Daffs ending Lucent's run.
