Biography
Halo 5: Guardians
Tapping Buttons broke onto the Halo scene in September 2017 when he joined team Shock The World alongside Atzo, Bullet and Drift. After three weeks of moderate success in the HCS Open Circuit, Tapping Buttons left Shock the World to join Severance alongside RyaNoob, Goofy and Gabriel. When the team failed to qualify for the week's Legendary Cup, Tapping returned to Shock the World, with whom he finished the season.
Following the Open Circuit season, Tapping Buttons spent a brief time period teaming with OGRE2 before returning to Shock the World. Shock the World looked towards qualifying for Halo World Championship 2017 through the Latin America region. At Gfinity Mexico City 2017, they were successful in their task, going undefeated through the Championship Bracket and earning a spot at the prestigious World Championship event. Unfortunately, visa issues left Tapping unable to make the trip, and he was forced to sit on the sidelines and watch his team compete in America with MuNoZ in his place.
On May 21, Tapping Buttons made his return to USA Halo, joining Evil Geniuses alongside Roy, Lunchbox and Falcated, with former teammate OGRE2 serving as coach. EG struggled for most of the Summer 2017 season, posting a 3-4 record and finishing in fifth place, high enough to bypass the Relegation phase. At the DreamHack Atlanta Finals, EG were upset early by Oxygen Supremacy in a 3-2 loss. After wins over Str8 Rippin, Team Infused and Luminosity Gaming, EG took a hard 3-0 loss from Team EnVyUs and finished in the top six.
Rather than making a roster change, EG went into the Fall 2017 season with an identical roster. They struggled harder than they had in the Summer, finishing in sixth with a record of 2-5. At the DreamHack Denver Finals, EG were defeated in the second round by Team Liquid. In the Elimination Bracket, EG defeated Team CryptiK in a close five-game series before falling to Luminosity Gaming 3-0 and finishing in the top eight.
EG disbanded during the offseason, leaving Tapping Buttons and Falcated to team up with Shooter and Artic for Halo World Championship 2018 season. This fell apart and Tapping spent the first half of the season in Mexico, playing for Shock the World alongside Atzo, Bullet, and Drift before leaving in week four. After missing MLG Orlando, Tapping returned to North America, joining Oceanic Squad alongside Falcated, Shooter, and Danoxide.
