Josh "Tragic" is a Halo player well known for his time on rosters such as, Paragon, Cryptic, VwS Gaming, Scorched eSports, Reality Check, Legendary and Crowd Control.

Biography

Halo 4

Tragic first made his mark in the competitive Halo scene during Halo 4. At his first event, AGL 5 Nashville, teaming with bubu dubu, Rage and Suspector he finished with a 9th to 12th placing. This team was known as Paragon. Tragic had his next notable placing at AGL 9 Atlanta, this time on team Cryptic alongside Nemassist, WinntuR and once again Suspector. The broke into the top 8 with a 7th-8th place finish. At the final Halo 4 event, RTX 2014, Tragic joined VwS Legendary playing with Mikwen, Sargoth and as always Suspector.

Halo 2: Anniversary

HCS Season 1

With the announcement of the HCS, Tragic joined Scorched Halo. The team initially consisted of him, Suspector, WinntuR and Nemassist. Upon going to their first event, Iron Games Columbus 2014, the team picked up Very Nerdy to fill in for Suspector. At the event the team finished with 8th place. This roster eventually left Scorched Halo, joining VwS Gaming. Under VwS the team placed 9th - 12th at UGC St. Louis 2015. Tragic and WinntuR split with their former teammates and joined Legendary to play with PreDevoNator and Sargoth. They recieved 8th place at Gamers For Giving 2015. This team did not qualify to attend the Season 1 Finals at PAX East 2015.

HCS Season 2

During the HCS off-season the roster of Legendary departed with PreDevoNator to join Annex alongside Very Nerdy. They competed at Iron Games Atlanta 2015 with a 9th - 12th placing. Following Atlanta, Tragic separated from his teammates and joined Reality Check to play with Suddoth 1, Suddoth 2 and Burton. This team was short lived, Tragic soon departed from the team.

Halo 5

Pro League

On April 28, 2016 Crowd Control was formed with a roster of Levi "LeVy" Stump, Jason "Scaryotic" Ortiz, Joshua "Tragic" Linenkugel and Tomell "Nerdy" Day. With a high enough average placing over the Halo World Championship 2016 season, Crowd Control was invited to play in the HCS Pro League Online Invitational Qualifier. They were unable to qualify through the Invitational, losing to Team EnVyUs twice in their bid. On May 6th it was announced that Scaryotic had been released in search of a new 4th for the Last Chance Qualifier. On May 13th it was announced that DanyKnight had been picked up for Crowd Control. The squad would finish 5th-6th unfortunately not qualifying for the HCS Pro League. The next day on May 23rd Tragic announced on twitter that he had departed from Crowd Control.
