Miles "Wra7h" Ross is a Halo Championship Series caster and retired player, well known for his time competing in the EU region as a part of Team Dignitas.
Biography
Playing career
Ross emerged onto the EU competitive scene during Halo 2, notably placing 4th at XL2 in 2007 as a member of Ghostbusters alongside Omega, Ruffell and GDFSniper. At his debut major Halo 3 event, XL3, Wra7h did not disappoint, finishing 1st as a member of The Incredibles alongside Omega, Ruffell and Gripz. The same roster returned at XL4, this time finishing 2nd. Wra7h, Omega and Gripz were then signed by Team Dignitas alongside Adihash, making up the storied organization's first ever Halo roster. They won XL5 and, after a roster change swapping Omega out for Baadshah, the World Cyber Games 2008 qualifier at Multiplay Insomnia 34, earning the right to represent the United Kingdom at the international event. At WCG, Team Dignitas went 1-2 in pool play, failing to advance to the bracket stage.
Dignitas returned at XL6 with Omega returning to replace Baadshah, this time placing 3rd. They came back strong at GameLan Rome 2008, finishing 1st. Dignitas looked to carry the momentum into Multiplay Insomnia 36, but finished in the top 6. A notable event in Ross' career occurred after his team's elimination, as he casted for the remainder of the event. Dignitas took 2nd place at Multiplay Insomnia 37, and Ross retired as a player shortly after the event. Wra7h would spend one more event as a member of Team Dignitas, this time as the coach, at Multiplay Insomnia 38. The team took 3rd place at the event.
Casting
In 2010, Ross became a professional Halo caster, commentating for the first three European Console League (ECL) (later known as European Gaming League (EGL)) events. After a long casting hiatus, he returned for Halo's return to EGL at the EGL Battle of Europe 2015 Halo 2: Anniversary event. After moving to Australia, Ross casted cups 2-4 of the Halo World Championship ANZ Regional Finals 2016 online qualifying series, followed by the Regional Finals themselves. He is expected to cast at Halo World Championship 2016.
